Speech Sounds
Children with speech sound disorders may substitute one sound for another, add or leave sounds out, or incorrectly position their lips and tongue to make certain sounds in words. We use evidence-based methods to help them learn new speech sounds, correct error patterns, and share their messages clearly. Click the button below to learn more about speech therapy.
Language & Social Skills
Children with language disorders may have difficulty comprehending verbal and written language or expressing themselves. Language disorders can affect vocabulary development, grammar, sentence structure, following directions, engaging in conversation, and understanding abstract and social language. Language therapy can help children express themselves, engage with family and friends, and increase their academic skills. Click the button below to learn more about language therapy.

Fluency & Stuttering
Children who stutter may repeat sounds or words, stretch out their words, or feel like words are stuck in their throat when speaking. We take a holistic approach to fluency therapy, which includes education, counseling, and strategies for fluent speech and confident communication. Through a personalized approach, we support our clients in achieving their communication goals. Click the button below to learn more about fluency therapy.
Meet Margarita
Margarita Ventura, MS, CCC-SLP
Owner, Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist
I am a compassionate bilingual speech-language pathologist with over 7 years of pediatric experience. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology at The University of Texas at Dallas and my master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology at Texas Woman’s University. Since then, I have become trained in providing PROMPT therapy, and I have worked with children of all ages in home health settings and in the public schools.

I started Unilife Speech Therapy with a mission to increase access to high-quality speech therapy services, especially for bilingual children. As a bilingual speaker myself, I know that it is a rich experience to speak two languages, and I am dedicated to providing culturally responsive therapy to Spanish- and English-speaking families.
In my spare time, I love to have movie nights with my family, cook delicious meals, travel to new places, and go camping outdoors.
